Skills Upgrading Centre’s training programs are completely customized to your current skill level and educational goals. Our versatility allows for one-to-one tutoring, small class instruction or computer-assisted instruction so that you can learn at your own pace. We’re by your side every step of the way to guide you towards educational success.

All of our programs are funded through community and government agencies, fundraising and private donors, so our training comes at no cost to you, depending on your eligibility. Improve your employment prospects, make new connections, and acquire the skills you need for a successful future.

Our computer training programs help you master basic computer skills, regardless of your current level of experience. We take the mystery out of learning how to use a computer as you work with today’s most commonly used software.

Refresh your writing fundamentals in this virtual 6 hour and instructor-led workshop. Learn tools and techniques to write appropriate communications for different audiences and purposes, and propel your writing skills to help your career.

Financial Literacy Workshop

Increase your knowledge on managing your money effectively in this 10 hour, multi-session, in-person workshop. Your instructor will help you to create budget plans, learn basics of banking, credits, borrowing, ways to save and tips on smart shopping.
